In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top social apps in Mexico was marked by varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at these metrics.

TikTok Lite - Save Data & Fast experienced a strong quarter with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $1.1M in early June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of about 683K in the week of June 2, while active users consistently hovered around 58M throughout the quarter.

Facebook showed a stable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at nearly $67K by the end of June. Downloads saw a notable rise mid-quarter, with a peak of 456K in mid-May. Active users maintained a steady presence, averaging around 81M.

Instagram recorded weekly revenue reaching up to $83K in early June. Download numbers were stable, peaking at 368K in early April, while active users remained consistent at around 48M.

Threads had no revenue data available but saw a rise in downloads, peaking at 294K in early June. The app maintained a stable active user base, with numbers reaching approximately 14.5M by early June.

Finally, NGL: ask me anything saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $26K at the end of June. Downloads showed a consistent upward trend, reaching 100K in late May, while active users saw fluctuations, ending the quarter at around 1.3M.
